MAX + ALEXIS
Have you ever been around two people who just take so much joy in being together? When I first met Max and Alexis, I was immediately struck by how much they just love to be near one another!
On their family and friend-focused wedding day, that joy was palpable. The day was impeccably designed, with bride Alexis’ eye for color, and guests were escorted from one moment to the next with an intimate view into the couple’s values, family traditions, and mutual love of the best dog ring bearer to ever exist :)
Citrus-hued blooms, tradition-bucking white bridesmaid dresses, and coordinating custom lounge space near fireplace ruins and ancient oaks dripping with Spanish moss provided the perfect back drop for the day. Alexis’ dad lovingly and painstakingly hung cafe lighting and draping in the rustic barn area to liven the space. Personal touches were added, like a gallery wall of loved ones no longer with us, garden cart to hold programs and signage, and a coconut cake (the couple’s favorite, picked up earlier in the day from Peninsula Grill).
The day ended with a full dance floor, kept moving all night by Emerald Empire Band, and the full hearts of all those in attendance. How lucky am I to get to work with such incredible people?! #bestjobever
