Colorful Summer Elopement at Parcel 32 in Charleston

Today we are going back to Parcel 32 in Charleston for the most romantic summer elopement (recently featured in Style Me Pretty)! It doesn’t seem to be a secret anymore that there is something so special about intimate weddings. Keeping your dream day to just the two of you or a small group doesn’t mean skipping out on your design vision. In fact, there is often more room in the budget to get creative!

For our elopement design, we gathered inspiration from the bold colors of the summer months and charm of the local city. To elevate this idea, we incorporated some fine art details from the unique dresses to the painted cake. Themes of seasonal florals added that final touch. This has to be one of our favorite designs yet and we can’t wait to share all of the details!

Elopement Invitations

An elopement still requires detailed organization. Especially if you are inviting a small guest count along, you will need to keep them informed. The invitations are a sneak peek into your day, so have fun with the design! This invitation suite remained modern yet playful with a dynamic print and different textures

Pro tip from a wedding planning team: add a card with your wedding website within each invitation. That way, your guests will be able to stay up to date with your plans and can gather more essential information. Gone are the days of wordy wedding invites!

First Look & Couple’s Photography

While you might not be in front of a large crowd at your elopement, a first look can ease any pre-ceremony nerves. You and your partner can soak in the moment before the day officially begins. This will provide some time to share a celebratory drink and grab some couple’s photos. That way, there is plenty of time to relax later!

Parcel 32 offers the perfect outdoor space for a first look. After the beautiful couple got ready, we walked them out to meet each other. There’s nothing like these heartfelt moments.

Style

The couples' wedding looks were jaw dropping and oh so romantic. Each wedding gown was a minimal silhouette with some fine art flare. The accessories like a delicate floral inspired headpiece and vintage inspired earrings brough the styles together. Down to the heels, every detail counts! Of course, we can’t forget about the lush bouquet.

When you get married in Charleston, don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore the city all dressed up. The couple even got to capture a photo in front of a local business’ marquee sign created just for their day, reading ‘LOVE ALWAYS WINS.' What a sweet way to celebrate!

Table Decor

Inside the venue space at Parcel 32, we set up an intimate tablescape. We incorporated tones of blush pink, blues, and bright poppy with mixed metallic details for this design. With any color palette, we think about the full picture. This includes the current season, venue space, and ultimate design goal.

The place settings included simple layered plates with a gold-trimmed linen napkin and menu to match the invitation suite. We mixed and matched different pieces of glassware for extra interest. To complete the table, we lit some fun blue tapered candles and added a colorful floral centerpiece.

The Cake

We can’t forget about the cake. Take it from us, painted cakes are trending (and we are totally on board)! An artistic two tiered cake was just the right amount for an elopement while standing as its own decor piece. We love the organic gold edges on this cake. It really was almost too pretty to eat!

We can’t wait to plan more intimate elopements like this day. Contact us to bring your vision to life! We would love to hear your love story.
